Now that we are starting to get warmer weather it makes me anxious to get plants out of the greenhouse and into the gardens. Although we have a few weeks left until tomatoes, peppers, and other warm weather crops can be planted, I have started some of the early crops such as peas, beets, carrots, and spinach. Before planting, I had some good helpers picking rocks, it seems like the rocks just grow over the winter! Each year there are more and more!
I am hoping to open my shop by the end of July or early August if all goes well. In the shop you will find fresh organic produce, handmade soaps, medicinal salves, herbal teas, and other handmade goods. The culvert has been installed and gravel has been added for the driveway, thanks to Preston and my dad. It is hard to think about opening a business during these times of businesses being closed but hopefully soon, all business owners will be able to work again.
Plant sale! I have many plants available for sale and am planning a drive-up plant sale the week of May 11-15. More information about sale hours will be coming soon. I have many unusual varieties of tomatoes, peppers, and culinary and medicinal herbs that cannot be found easily at other greenhouses. All plants are certified organic through Oregon Tilth, which means no synthetic chemicals have been used. You can check out my website for some varieties, although other varieties will be available at the drive-up sale.
