I am very much looking forward to getting in the greenhouse and planting some seeds! This time of year when it is usually cold and snowy, the greenhouse offers a respite of warmth and lots of greenery! Especially on sunny days, the greenhouse can get well into the 80s and I look forward to spending time in there.
There is much work to be done planting, watering, transplanting, re-potting, not to mention all the record-keeping that I need to do to keep my organic certification up to date.
Due to the amount of time I will need to spend in this aspect of my business, my store hours will be changing - just until spring! Hours will be as follows:
Wednesday - 1pm - 6pm
Saturday - 9am - 1pm
When spring arrives I will work to add more hours to the shop and I will be selling the greenhouse grown organic plants; many varieties of heirloom tomatoes and peppers, flowers, herbs - both culinary and medicinal, and more. There will be unusual varieties that cannot be easily found elsewhere. Stay tuned!
