Stevia Plant Seedling (Stevia rebaudiana)

Stevia is grown as an annual in most areas and should be brought in during the winter months.  The dried leaves are used as a sweetener and are about 250 times more sweet than sugar, so only a little is needed!  Plants thrive in rich garden soil or do very well in pots!  

When caring for your plant, be sure to cut it back occasionally because it can get leggy.  Cutting back the plant will also encourage lower branch growth which will also make the plant fuller! 

Seedling is approximately between 6-10 inches when shipped, ready for your garden space.  All our seedlings are shipped with care to help prevent damage when shipping. The soil in the pot in covered so it will not spill out during shipping. The plant itself is staked or wrapped properly to prevent damage or cracking in the box. We want to make sure you receive your plant damage free!  If issues do occur during shipping, please contact me directly and I will try to help you with your plant.  

Due to unforeseen shipping issues, an item could arrive damaged, though not common.  If your item arrives damaged, please send a picture within 7 days and we may provide a replacement.  The pictures have to be sent within 7 days of receipt. 

Each plant is shipped in a pot with organically approved soil. All plants are grown organically with OMRI approved soil.  No chemicals have been used during growth. We have many years of growing successful, healthy plants in many different varieties!
